• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本論文では(1)消費者の限定合理的行動および(2)店舗の空間の限定から定番商品が発生してくるプロセスを議論した。競争プロセスを検討する手段としてコンピュータシミュレーションを用いた。短いターン数で走らせたプロセス解析から、(1)競争の初期段階の優位が増幅する(2)競合する類似商品のどれが生き残るか事前に判断するのは難しいという2つの性質が得られた。より長いターン数を走らせた結果から、(1)消費者の好みいくつかのクラスターで構成されている時、各クラスターの好みにあった商品長期的に全て生き残る事は難しい(2)店の規模が最終的に生き残る商品数を左右するという性質が得られた。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper describes the dynamics of competition if consumers follow the satisfaction principle. If only a limited number of products are allowed on the shelf, the shop's rule to select them crucially effects the dynamics of market shares. This paper presents a simple model and some results of its computer simulation, which suggest some typical patterns or tendencies of the market dynamics: the strong path dependency (a new product may win or lose a market share according to the timing of its introduction), and the emergence and the wondering nature of the market-dominant product.
