• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 著者らは，大規模パソコンLANシステムの普及に伴い，分散化された現地システムの構築の難しさが顕在化すると予想し，システム構築の容易化を目的とした遠隔構築支援ツールRemote Easy lnstallerの開発を行った．Remote Easy Installerは，分散化された現地システムの構築時間を短縮するために，管理センタ等からの遠隔制御によって，現地システムにおけるクライアントパソコンのOperating System，Network Operating SystemからApplcationまでの全てのソフトウエアを遠隔構築するPower?On & Play方式，コンフイギュレーションサーバによるシステム構築情報一括管理方式およびクライアントパソコンの構築に対する統合遠隔設定方式により，システム構築所要時間を大幅に短縮できた．これまでに行ったシステム評価実験によって，Remote Easy Installerの有用性および著者らの設計コンセプトの正当性を確認できる評価を得た．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: With the spread of large-scale PC-LAN systems, difficulties in dispersed local system construction are expected to arise. In order to facilitate this system construction process, we have developed a remote construction support tool called Remote Easy Installer. Remote Easy Installer features three methods to reduce construction time of dispersed local systems. The first is a Power-On & Play method, which constructs remotely all software, including Operating System, Network Operating System and Application, for local system client PC's. The second is a system construction information total control method by configuration servers. The third is an integrated remote setting method for client PC construction. The use of these methods, by means of remote control from control centers, results in a great reduction of system construction time. System evaluation tests have proved Remote Easy Installer's usefulness and have justified our design concept.
