| 内容記述 | ADSL等の高速で安価なインターネット有線接続の普及に伴って，無線LANを使用したインターネットアクセスサービスが普及しつつある．例えば空港やコーヒーショップといった場所に無線LANのアクセスポイントを有線に接続配置して，自営的なアクセスネットワークを構成する．このようなサービスを提供する上で，Bluetoothは無線LANと並んで注目されている無線通信技術である．Bluetoothは携帯電話や携帯情報機器への急速な普及が見込まれているが，低消費電力である事など魅力のある反面，Bluetooth独自の接続手順を必要とし，利用が難しい側面も持つ．本報告ではBluetoothを用いたアクセスネットワーク構成方式の検討を行った． | |||||||

| 内容記述 | The proliferation of inexpensive, wired Internet access such as ADSL accelerates a new type of wireless Internet access service by deploying wireless LAN. The service is provided in airports or installed at coffee shops in a form of private wireless access network, where wireless LAN access points are connected to the inexpensive wired network. Bluetooth is an another candidate of wireless access to provide the service competing with the wireless LAN. The Bluetooth is assumed to spread into cellular phones and PDAs. The Bluetooth has advantage in power consumption while it has some difficulties in its usage that is coming from its own link protocol. We organized a study of access network configuration method for Bluetooth equipped routers in this report. | |||||||
