| 内容記述 | 本文は、ITSにおけるVSC（Vehicle Safety Communication)に関する研究動向および標準化動向を紹介するものである。交通事故の大幅な削減を目指して、日米欧の政府レベルの様々な活動が行われるなかで、通信技術を利用して、車の運転者に情報を提供し、事故を防止しようという試みが盛んになっている。ここで用いられる通信がVSCと総称されている。こうした安全のための通信は標準化されていることが必須であるため、技術開発の段階から公共的な機関が中心となり活動を進めている。本文では、日米欧の最近のVSCの取り組みについてその動向を紹介する。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | This paper introduces trends in research and standardizations relating to VSC (Vehicle Safety Communication) of ITS. Various activities are being carried out at national govemment levels in Japan, the United States and Europe, with the aim to significantly reduce the number of traffic accidents, while attempts are being undertaken enthusiasticalry to prevent accidents by providing information to drivers of cars using communication technologies. The communication method used for such purposes is generally referred to as VSC. Since standardization is essential for such communication for safety, public sector institutions have been promoting standardization activities and filling a central role starting from the technology development phase. This paper will introduce the trends of VSC activities undertaken in Japan, the United States and Europe. | |||||||
