• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本研究の目的は，「書きながら考え」「考えながら書く」文章作成プロセスを支援する環境を構築することである。表現の自由度が高い二次元空間と，階層構造を明示的に指定し可視化することが可能な木構造という，異なる性質をもつ表現-操作系を組み合わせることにより，試行錯誤的な文章作成の状態から文章の全体構造が明確になる段階まで一貫して支援を行う。アプローチを検証するために試作したシステムiWeaverの利用から，ボトムアップとトップダウンの両方の文章作成が支援されるため，順番を気にせずに文章作成を行うことが可能であるということが明らかになった。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The goal of this paper is to design and build a system to support writing process such as writers reflect through their actions. In our approach, we intergrate different type of representation, two-dimensional space that enables to bring various meanings in its layout and tree structure, which enables to present visual layered tructure. Its aim is to support from initial stage of writing process through final stage whose overall document structure is well-defined. Based on this approach, we have built a system named iWeaver. supports both bottom-up writing and top-down writing.
