• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本論文では、人間のかかわりを階層化することによって、そのかかわりの深度を明確化しようと試みる。同じ場所にいる2人の間で「道を教える」ような場合と、遠隔にいる複数人が連立政権樹立のために「政策調整を行う」ような場合とを比較し、前者がコミュニケーションであり、後者がコラボレーションであることを述べる。ここでは、コミュニケーションとコラボレーションの違いを明確化し、遠隔のコラボレーションのために臨場感のあるコミュニケーションが要求されることを述べる。コラボレーションのためにCommunication，Awareness，Copresenseという下位の階層が存在し、それらの層がコラボレーションのためのインフラストラクチャの役目をはたす。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In this paper the grade of the relationship among collaborating members for a workgroup is discussed. Two cases are compared, one is a case in which a person is teaching to another how to get to the temple, the other is a case in which the policies for establishing a coalition cabinet are adjusting among related members via telecommunication lines. It is definded that the former is a commumication, on the other hand, the latter is a collaboration. The difference between communication and collaboation is clearly described. For a workgroup collaboration, a layerd architecture composing of 4 layers; Collaboration, Communication, Awareness and Copresence from the top to the bottom is defined.
