• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 異文化間コミュニケーションにおいて，機械翻訳技術を用いることにより，言語の壁を越えることが，可能になりつつある．しかし，現在の異文化間コミュニケーションツールは，通常のコミュニケーションツールに機械翻訳技術を取り入れただけである．単に機械翻訳技術を既存のツールに組み込むだけでなく ｢異文化間」のコミュニケーションに適したツールが必要になると考えた．そこで，ユーザインタフェイスをカスタマイズ可能なチャットシステムCustomOhatを開発した．OustomChatは，各ユーザがユーザインタフェイスをカスタマイズできるだけなく，異なったユーザインタフェイスを持つツール間でのコミュニケーションを可能にしている．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: ln intercultural Communications, we are overcoming language barriers to some degree by using the ma chine translation. However, most present intercultural communication tools can only handle the machine translation. We think that the more suitable intercultural commumcations tools are necessary. Then, we have developed user-interface customizable chat system CustomChat. CustomChat can communicate in the different user interface．
