• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: コンピュータを活用した設計・製造の生産性向上を図る多くの言葉がある。例えば，CAD，CAM，CAE，CIM等の用語は時として混乱をも生じている。このことは技術者の生産性性向上，開発技術力の向上への関心の高さの現われであろう。この推進を図しているのは，CAD/CAMである。しかし，CAD/CAMは主として製図やNC等従来の手作業の省力化に重点が置かれ，設計の基本である解析や評価等のコンピュータ・シミュレーション機能に関しては十分とは言えない。一方，これらの解析・評価用のソフトはこれまで種々開発されている。従って，これらの既存のソフトを有効活用した統合化した設計支援システムの整備が次の課題であり，当社の行っている統合化方法について紹介する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: There are many words concerned with the increase of productivity of engineers using computer. These words; CAD/CAM, CAE, CIM may sound to some exaggerated. In fact, CAD/CAM has made a great contribusion to the improvement of productivity. But, CAD/CAM has placed an importance on save hand work labor such as Drafting and NC, and has been lacking in computer simulations such as Analysis and Evalution of Design. Therefore, we must build up the Integrated system that consists of CAD/CAM and computer simulations. This is the problem which confront us to press for improvement in the quality of engineers. This paper will introduce the way to integrate CAD/CAM and computer simulations that has been wrestled by Toshiba.
