• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 現在の出版界では、出版物の多品種少量化に伴い、多様な読者ニーズに対応し得るシステムが求められている。とりわけ、出版社と書店の中間に立つ取次にとって、物流の面でも情報提供の面でも、有効に働くシステム構築は急務である。本稿では、出版取次最大手である東京出版販売株式会社（東販）の統合システムTONETSの概観を紹介し、併せて出版界の情報化の方向を解説する。TONETSとは、60万点の書誌データベースを保持し、取引先とオンラインで結びながら、販売データの蓄積・活用を図り、出版物の円滑な市場供給を目指すものである。全国の書店への書籍・雑誌の配本はこのシステムを通じて操作されている。

Especially for wholesalers between publishers and bookstores, the construction of an effective system is essential from the standpoint of physical distribution as well as providing data. Here, you will learn about the integrated system "TONETS" and also the information-oriented publishing industry today. TONETS, having database for over 600,000 publication and being connected Online with customers, intends to store and utilize sales data, and to smoothly supply the market with publications. The distribution of books and magazines to bookstores throughout Japan is controlled by this system.
