• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 情報処理の分野では、時間の経過とともに発展する製品などを、あるタイム・スパンで切って、それぞれの時期に作られた製品の特徴などをもとに”世代分け”することがよく行われている。それを見習って、私はここでコンピュータ技術者の世代分けを試みてみたい。先ず、コンピュータ技術者の世代間での仕事の取り組み方の違いを明らかにしてみたい。次に、今ユーザー企業で起きている問題のいくつかについて述べる。そして最後に、これらの問題を解決するために、第三世代のコンピュータ技術者諸君が第一世代的スタンスで仕事に取り組んで頂くことが必要であることを述べる。これは去り行く第一世代からの、第三世代の技術者への強烈なエールである。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: In the field of Information Processing, we often divide products or software progressing along with the lapse of time into some generations in terms of their characteristics. Here I divide computer engineers into generations in the way described above. First, I prove each generation proceeds its jobs in a different way from others. Next I mention some problems occurring in user companies. And for solving them, I insist the third generation should work in the way the first one have done. This paper is a shout of encouragement from the first one.
