• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 情報システムに対する検索には、不特定の対象の集合を目的とする検索のほかに、特定の唯一の対象を目的として行なわれる検索がある。こうした一意検索を、名称や通番のような外的な属性でなく対象から直接観察される属性によって効果的に行なえるようにするには、情報の内容から各種の属性を導出できる機構が備わっていなくてはならない。本稿では、タータン地紋デザイン/管理支援システムETCにおけるこのような検索機能の実現について報告する。そのポイントは、デザイン情報に変換を施し、必要な属性が強調された情報を導出することにある。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: It is often important to retrieve just one proper record from the database as well as to retrieve a set of records with the properties specified. It is much difficult to retrieve only one record, and much more in the case of lacking of the identification informations of the object. In this paper, an implementation of such retrieval functions with an information system for designing and managing tartan patterns is reported. The idea is based on the filters that extract the attributes from the informaion stored in the database.
