• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 三次元形状の理解を容易にする画像を生成する手法について述べる。工業デザイン分野における製品イラストなどでは、伝えたい情報が伝えられない画像は意味のないものになってしまう。そのため、リアリティの高い画像の生成方法のみに捕らわれず、三次元形状の特徴をさまざまな強調表現を用いることによって、人にわかりやすい画像を作ることが必要になる。本研究では、三次元形状モデルに対して適用する強調表現生成アルゴリズムを確立し、人にわかりゃすい画像を生成することを目的とする。このために、各種強調表現の画像に対する効果を分析し、コンピュータを用いて短時間で容易に強調表現を行う手法を提案する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We introduce a series of graphics algorithms which change a given image so as to emphasize its three dimensional characteristics. In technical illustrations of industrial design, images should communicate correct information about the shape rather than artistic impression. Our graphics tool can generate not only a realistic image like a photograph but also emphasized effects using computer graphics.
