• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 近年、コンピュータグラフィックスによる自然現象の表示に関心が集まっており、そのひとつに煙の表示がある。煙の複雑な形状と、複雑な運動をモデル化することは、重要かつ難しい問題である。本稿では、煙が流体であることを考慮して表示する方法を提案する。提案法の特徴は次のようである。煙のモデル化にメタボールを用いることにより、煙の濃度の3次元分布を簡易に表現できる。煙の流れは、流れを支配する物理方程式を解くことによって求め、渦は渦度を用いて表現する。このため、障害物が存在する場合でもリアルな煙の動きを得ることができる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Recently, displaying natural phenomena has been an interest topic in computer graphics such as displaying smoke. To model the complex shapes and to simulate the complex movements of smoke are important and difficult problems. In this paper, we propose a method of displaying smoke by dealing smoke as fluid. By using metaballs, we can easily represent the 3-dimensional density distribution of smoke. We solve the physical equation of flow, and represent vortexes by using vorticity Therefore, we can represent smoke flow even if there are obstacles.
