• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本稿では、日本文を黙読する際の読み手の読みのスタイルを分析する新しい方法を提案する。これは、筆者らが先に定義した文書の可読性の測度RGVと文書の黙読時間との関数関係から、読みのスタイルを求める方法である。まずコンピュータディスプレイ上での文書の黙読実験から、RGVと黙読時間との関数パターンを抽出できることを示す。さらに、読み手へのインタビュー結果から、これらの関数パターンは、文字追い読み、飛ばし読み、諦め読みなどの読みのスタイルと対応することを示し、本方法の有効性を明らかにする。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper proposes a method for identifying reading styles based on the relationship between reading time and a Japanese text readability measure. The readability measure for Japanese text, called RGV (Reading Grade Value), defined by the authors can be used to measure the difficulty of passages based on school grade levels, The results of a VDT text reading experiment indicate that a few reading styles such as normal, skip and resigned readings can be identified based on differences in reading time variance patterns according to RGV.
