• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本稿では、オンラインショピングなどのインタラクティブなネットワーク情報サービスが、将来的に一般家庭にまで普及していくことを目指し、このような情報システムのUIにインタラクティブ3DCGを適用することの提案及びプロトタイプシステムの実現について述べている。インタラクティブ3DCG技術を用い、提供される情報を現実世界を模倣した仮想的な3次元空間に表示することにより、より分かりやすく、そして使っていて楽しいと感じられる操作環境を提供できると予想される。今回のプロトタイプシステムでは、インターネットでの情報システムの一つであるGopherをベースに、Gopherで提供される情報を仮想的な町並みとして表示し、その中を車で運転しながら情報アクセスを行うメタファを採用している。現在は、プロトタイプの第一バージョンが完成した段階であり、今後このシステムの試用を通して、メタファ等の評価作業を進める予定である。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper describes a proposal and an implementation of a network-wide information service system with UI utilizing an interactive 3D CG, which aims for the services such as VOD and on-line shopping to spread to an ordinary home. UI with an interactive 3D CG technique is expected to be able to realize an environment of interactions which is more easy to understand what s/he is doing now, and more amusing. The current prototype system is based on Gopher, one of the information systems in the Intemet, and employs a cityscape metaphor for presenting served information and a driving metaphor for accessing. The current state of this research is the end of an implementation work of the first version, and just the beginning of an evaluation work of that metaphors.
