• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 対面対話を模倣するのではなく、ビデオ対話にふさわしい対話方式として設計した対話方式「超鏡(HyperMirror)」について述べる。超鏡では、対話者全員が同一の画像を用いて対話を行う。対話は2地点に限らず、何地点でも構わない。そして対話に利用する画像は、あたかも、各地に居る対話者全員が同室にいる様子を鏡に写した内容である。画面上で対話者は視覚的に相互作用をすることができる。画面に表示される自己像は鏡像である。本システムの利用実験により、画面上の仲間の実在感がかなりあること、同室の相手であってもスクリーン上の相手に対して話しかける傾向があること、等が示された。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: HyperMirror' a communication method is not designed simulated a face-to-face dialogue style but suitable for a video-mediated communication. The users of this system use a single composite image which represents a virtual room where all users seem to be present. They can play visual interaction in the image. The self image on the screen is a mirror image. Results of our experiment participated by users indicate that the system can provide such high reality to the composite image that many users show a tendency to talk to the screen even when the target person is locally present.
