• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 鉄道ターミナル駅などの交通拠点で、多くの利用者が円滑に移動を行うために、視覚案内が必要である。また視覚から情報を得られない障害者に対して、音声と触覚による案内が望まれる。これらのサインを合理的に計画するためには、サインの質を決定する「情報」「様式」「位置」の三要素を片寄りなく検討して、人間の知覚特性に基づくシステムを設計することが求められる。特に現在導入されている種々の視覚障害者用のサインは、効果的でないものが多く、互の関係性にも乏しい。個別な様式を体系的に組み合わせて、移動に沿って必要な情報を順次提供するサインシステムを構成することで、インフォメーション機能の向上が期待できる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Many passengers use mainly "visual information" and sight disabled people need "auditory and tactile information" to move smoothly at terminal stations. Particulary a lot of signs for the latter has not been effective and not had a sufficient continuity on messages one another. For the purpose of projecting these relationally, we have to investigate the three elements of "a message", "a form" and "a location", and design systems which is based on the senses. When we combine the each way of signs systematically and constitute the systems which provide information in order along the move of passengers, we can expect the progress on function of signs.
