• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 複数ワークステーションによる在席型共同作業を想定する。音声による効果的な意思疎通をめざして、ネットワーク上の仮想会議室MMRに音声混合機能を実現した。全参加者の発話は、音声回線を経由し音響ミキサによって混合され、提供される。仮想会議室の作業者アイコン位置に基づき、各人ごとに異なる音場がステレオ提示される。作業者アイコンはマウスによる直接制御が可能であるが、さらに、外部のアプリケーションからも制御可能とした。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We investigate the effective vocal communication for group work at the workstations in the personal booths. We have established the mixing control of operator's voices with the virtual conference room: MMR, which simulates a face-to-face meeting in the network environment. The voices are mixed with sound mixers, and each member can hear individual voices indefferent stereo balances, corresponding to the relative positions in the MMR. The potitions in the MMR can be directly manipulated by a mouse, and moreover by other applications running outside the MMR.
