• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: The decade of 1980's saw rapid advances in computer networking as well as pioneering development of distributed systems. Recent advances in computer and communication technologies have a tremendous impact on the development of high-speed networks multimedia communications interconnection of workstations and supercomputers and integration of voice data visual and imaging services. The advent of Information Superhighway would certainly force changes in the design and application of new distributed systems. Applications that use high-speed broadband networks such as video conferencing data fusion and visualization will have potential effects on distributed systems. The integration of gigabit networks and multimedia communications will be a challenging problem to many researchers and developers of new distributed systems. Presented in this talk are a brief survey and current status of distributed systems as well as trends and future development.
