• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本稿では、ネットワーク中を移動するユーザの利便性や電子メールの到達性を向上させることを目的としてユービキタスな電子メールサービスを提案する。ネットワークを通じてメールサービス自体を移動する技術及び電子メールに限定したネットワークへのアクセス手段の導入によって、移動ユーザに適応した電子メールサービスを提供可能である。そのための要素技術として、メールリダイレクション機構とWWMB (orld Wide Mail Bo)を提案する。メールリダイレクション機構は、電子メールの経路の動的変更により効率的な配送を目的とする。WWMBは、ネットワーク分散型の仮想メールボックスで、ネットワークをリージョンという管理領域に分け、その内部のメールストレージ同士の協調と、リージョン同士の協調でユーザの移動に対応する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper describes the concept of new ubiquitous E-mail service and the technologies for realizing it. Ubiquitous E-mail service can support users to read their E-mail through any acccss point on Internet, and improvement reachability of E-mail service. This service is realized by introducing two technologies. One make it possible to transfer E-mail service its own somewhere through the network. Another technology present the special access method restricted to make use of E-mail service. The former is called "Mail redirection mechanism", which dynamically translate a distribution path of a E-mail. The latter is called "World Wide Mail Box". This consists of pseudo mail boxes distributed to the network. We introduce the concept of regions to manage the distributed mail boxes. There are some mail strages in one region. The mail storages exchange information with each other, and regions too. By doing so, WWMB provide the functions mentioned above.
