• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 衛星を利用して映像や電子新聞等のマルチメディア情報を多数のユーザに提供する，情報分配サービスが期待されている．このような状況に対応するため，事前に登録された数千規模の正しいユーザに確実に送信できる高信頼性マルチキャスト適言プロトコルRMTP (Reliable Multicast Transport Protocol)が，NTT情報研から提案されている．本稿は，既存のプロトコルUDP (User Datagram Protocol)やTCP (Transmission Control Protoco)を使用してサービスを行っているシステムに，新たにRMTPを使用したサービスを追加した場合，その影響度をシミュレーションによって評価するためのモデル化手法について述べている．モデル化に当たっては，市販のシミュレーションツールOPNETを使用している．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The information distribution service by utilized a satellite is prospective. Corresponding to such situation, reliable multicast transport protocol RMTP which can transmit a multimedia information surely to right users of several thousand scale registered before was suggested from NTT Information and communication Systems Laboratories. This paper describes a modeling technique to evaluate the influence degree by simulation, when the service used RMTP is given afresh into the services used existing protocol UDP and TCP. A marketing simulator OPNET is used this time.
