• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本稿は，出現的計算 (ergent computati) や直観的応答をマルチエージェントシステムによって記述し，実現するのを目的とする．このために従来のような機能分割によるシステム構築法ではなく，Brooks が提案した行動ベース分割による包摂アーキテクチャを取り上げる，具体的な行動を担うエージェントを積み上げ，総体として出現的計算や直観的応答を行わせることを狙う．いくつかの応用を再構築することによって，マルチエージェントシステムの新しいパラダイムを探るための問題点・課題を指摘する．また，包摂アーキテクチャと「オーバラップする近傍系」を標傍するコネクティクスとの関連についても議論する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We investigate multi-agent systems to model and implement emergent computations and reactive responses. As a system architecture, we adopt the subsumption architecture proposed by Brooks. The overall computation is carried out by a set of agents each of which does concrete work by communicating with other agents or the world. Based on this approach, we reorganize various systems such as robot control, human behavior in a crowded corridor and natural language processing to investigate the possibility of the subsumption architecture for general purpose framework.
