• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: WWW (orld Wide We)の普及により、通信量の増加が問題となっている。現在用いられている階層型キャッシングは階層構造の上位にあるキャッシングプロキシサーバに負荷が集中する。この解決法としてWWWにおいてネットワーク上に頻繁に起こる同じ情報の流れをまとめるようにキャッシュを配置すれば効率的にネットワークの通信量を減らし、キャッシングプロキシサーバの負荷を分散させることができる。本稿ではシステムが流れをまとめるような分担型キャッシングプロキシサーバの設計・実装を行い、その評価について述べる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The current WWW (World Wide Web) caching system is organized hierarchically according to network topology. However, hierarchical caching suffers from high load at the top of the hierarchy. To resolve this problem, we have built a new caching system that bundles WWW object streams. This system caches WWW objects that flow between clients and servers of WWW and shares the cache by reflecting the access pattern of WWW users. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of caching system based on stream control and its performance evaluation.
