| 内容記述 | 分散共有メモリ型マルチプロセッサ「ASURA」の性能評価を確率モデルを利用して行なう。モデル化にあたっては、ASURAの特徴である階層性に着目し、1サイクル内のキャッシュ、ローカル・メモリ、グローバル・メモリに対する可能なリクエスト数をそれぞれ求め、それらを統合してシステム全体の理論性能値とする。クラスタ内の評価にはマルコフ・チェイン・モデルを、クラスタ間の評価には予想されるリクエストのキューイング数をそれぞれ組み込み、全体として統合されたときの誤差を少なくする手法を提案する。さらにそのモデルを用いてキャッシュのヒット率及びリクエストの分散度合と理論性能との関係を分析する。 | |||||||

| 内容記述 | A new analytic performance model is presented for ASURA, a distributed shared memory multiprocessor. The system bandwidth is analyzed as the total number of requests in a system cycle. Following the fundamental hierarchy of ASURA, the requests are devided into cache, local memory and global memory types. Futhermore, we adopt the adaptive method which increases the accuracy of overall model : 1) Markov Chain Model for the analysis of intra cluster activity. 2) Queueing probability for inter cluster requests. Finally, using this model we analyze the system performance from the viewpoint of cache hit ratio and the distribution of requests. | |||||||
