FPGA を利用することで，個人でも自由にプロセッサの開発が行えるようになってきており，様々な形態のプロセッサが今後，研究や教育で活用されると期待される．FPGA 上でプロセッサを活用して様々なアプリケーションプログラムを開発し動作させるためには，入出力装置との接続が必要になる. 現在，入出力装置を動作させるための回路記述などの設計データがベンダーやオープンソースで提供されているが，これらの入出力回路とプロセッサを接続する場合に，高機能で汎用的仕様を持つインターフェースを使う必要があり，そのために複雑な回路の実装が必要となる．そこで我々は，様々な構成のプロセッサの開発を入出力機能の面から支援するために，できるだけ簡素な回路でインターフェース接続できることが必要であると考えた．本稿では，開発されたプロセッサ上でアプリケーションプログラムを動作させるために必要な基本的の入出力装置を検討し，プロセッサと容易に接続可能なインターフェースを策定する．また，基本入出力ハードウェアおよびその制御ソフトウェア構成について述べる． |

With the use of FPGAs, even individuals can freely develop processors, and various forms of processors are expected to be utilized in research and education in near future. In order to develop and run various application programs using processors on FPGAs, it is necessary to it them with input/output devices. Currently, circuit design data for operating input/output devices are available from vendors and open sources. However, when connecting these input/output circuits to processors, it is necessary to use interface with high-performance general-purpose specifications, which require complex circuit implementations. Therefore, we have considered that it is necessary to be able to connect the interface with as simple a circuit as possible in order to support the development of processors with various configurations in terms of input/output functions. In this paper, we consider the basic input/output devices necessary to run application programs on the developed processors, and formulate interface that can be easily connected to various processors. We also show the basic input/output hardware and its control software configuration. |
