本研究の目的は，坂道に取り付けられているような傾斜を持つ手すりを把持した感覚を 利用して平面を歩いているにもかかわらず，坂を上る感覚を再現することである．そこで，手すりに対しての人間の傾斜知覚の調査を行い，次に手すりの視覚情報と触覚情報によるクロスモーダル現象の調査をする.具体的には，(i)触覚のみでの手すりに対する傾斜知覚 (ii)視覚変調を施した手すりに対する傾斜知覚 (iii)視覚変調を施した坂に対する視覚の傾斜知覚について実験を行うことを提案する．そして，本研究の最近の状況について，報告する． |

The purpose of this study is to reproduce the sensation of walking up a slope, even though the user is walking on a flat surface, by using the sensation of grasping a handrail with a slope. We first investigate the human perception of inclination to a handrail, and then investigate cross-modal phenomena using visual and tactile information of the handrail. Specifically, we propose to conduct experiments on (i) the perception of inclination to a handrail using only tactile sensation, (ii) the perception of inclination to a handrail with visual modulation, and (iii) the perception of visual inclination to a slope with visual modulation. Also, we then report on the recent status of this study. |
