内容記述 | This research aims to raise awareness of dietary behavior and improve eating habits to prevent obesity and related diseases. The proposed system, called Chewker, utilizes a necklace-type device with various sensors to quantify eating behavior. It detects five eating behaviors in real-time: Feeding, Chewing, Swallowing, Drinking, and Talking. The system provides feedback through vibrations based on the number of chews per swallow, and overall feedback is displayed on an LCD screen after finishing the meal. The goal is to increase the number of chews and improve the pace of chewing, leading to long-term behavioral changes. The experimental results showed that in controlled as well as natural environments, the three behaviors of Feeding, Chewing, and Swallowing could be accurately detected. It was found that the detection of chewing varied significantly depending on the individual, while swallowing could be detected consistently regardless of the person. | |||||||||
