| 内容記述 | 歌謡曲は，大衆に広く親しまれることを目的に，西洋音楽の技法を取り入れて作られたものである．時代性を反映しており，口語的な要素も持つ歌詞データの分析は，宗教学に新しい成果をもたらす可能性がある．本研究では，まず，35 万曲以上の歌謡曲データを有するウェブサイト「歌ネット」より，「祈」を含む歌詞 1 万曲以上を収集した．「祈り」は，宗教活動の中心とも考えられるためである．次に，KH Coder を用いて年代ごとの特徴を探った．さらに，新型コロナ流行前後の歌詞を精査し，無宗教が大半であると言われる日本人が歌詞の中で何に向かって，どんな内容を祈っているのかを明らかにした． | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study analyzes over 10,000 Japanese pop songs containing the word "pray" to explore the nature of Japanese religiousness in contemporary Japanese popular music. We collected the lyrics from a database of more than 350,000 Japanese pop songs and used KH Coder to investigate distinctive features across different periods. We also examined the lyrics of songs composed before and after the outbreak of COVID-19 to investigate what Japanese people pray for and what they direct their prayers toward in their lyrics. Our findings have implications for study of religion. | |||||||||
