監視用ネットワークカメラシステムは，多数のネットワークカメラと，その接続先としてのレコーダ，PC クライアントなどから構成されており，大量の映像ストリームが伝送される．また近年，FHD から 4k へと高解像度化も進んでおり，ネットワーク帯域やレコーダの記録容量の増大が課題となってきている．そのため，ネットワークカメラメーカ各社は，最新の規格に対応するだけでなく，データ量削減を目的とした機能を搭載してきている．ネットワークカメラシステムの概要，ネットワークカメラにおける映像符号化技術の動向と，当社の AI ネットワークカメラにおける物体検知と連携した映像符号化技術の取り組みについて報告する． |

The surveillance network camera system is composed of a number of network cameras, and recorders / PC clients as a connection destination, therefore a large amount of video streams are transmitted. In addition, the resolution has been increasing from FHD to 4k, so that increasing network bandwidth and recording capacity has become an issue. Therefore, network camera manufacturers have not only adapted the latest standards, but also equipped with functions aimed at reducing data volume.We report on the outline of network camera system, the trend of video coding technology in network camera, and our approach to video coding technology with object detection in our AI network camera. |
