• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 図書の電子化研究に資するため，本研究ではマルチメディアデータベースシステム技術に基づいて，文部省検定済の中学校地理の教科書の電子化を研究した．本稿では電子化のために教科書をどのように構造分析したのか，教科書の動的内容関連構造の導入，プロトタイプシステムの画面インタフェース設計，そしてプロトタイプシステムの中学生による評価実験の結果などについて述べ，実装したシステムをビデオで紹介する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper reports a multimedia electronic textbook in geography for junior high school which has been under development at University of Library and Information Science. Although textbooks are well edited and written under the guidance of Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, there is a limitation in education and learning in the sense that textbooks are the traditional printing materials. To break through this limitation, it is expected that their multimedia electronic version works well. The system was evaluated high by junior high school students and it will be presented using a video demonstration.
