• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 「華北交通アーカイブ」 は戦時期広報用写真である 「華北交通写真」 をデジタル化し，メタデータなどを付与する整理を行い，写真アーカイブに適したシステムを設計した上で，研究データベースとして公開したものである．本稿は，華北交通写真の発見の経緯から写真群としての特徴，さらには研究データベースを構築する際の技術的課題などを述べ，最後にアーカイブを公開した後の社会の反応をまとめる．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: “North China Railway Archive” is a research database released after digitizing “North China Railway Photograph” collection, organizing it by adding metadata, and designing a system for photographic archives. This manuscript describes the story about the discovery of this photograph collection, the characteristics of the photographs, technical challenges to build a research database, and finally summarizes responses from the society on the release of the archive.
