| 内容記述 | これまでのWeb ページのガイドツアー作成ツールはいわゆるWeb アプリケーションとして開発されている．学習・教育という応用分野においては，個々の学習者が，既存のWeb ページを利用して，あるテーマに沿ったガイドツアーを作成し，教師に評価してもらうような学習形態が考えられる．しかし，情報技術に関する高いスキルを持たない一般の教師にとっては，Web アプリケーションよりも導入や運用が容易なスタンドアロン型のツールの方が適している場合もある．近年注目されているXML 技術は構造化文書の表現媒体としてだけではなく，データの格納媒体としても有用である．特に，Web ページの系列を表現するにはXML のXLink が利用できる．XLink を用いることで，ガイドツアーを表現するためのデータ構造を素直にモデル化できるうえ，DOM を活用することで，ガイドツアーをファイルとして受け渡すことのできるスタンドアロン型のプロトタイプを実装できた．プロトタイプでは，ガイドツアーの開発過程に候補ページ収集フェーズを設定することによって，学習者にとっての難易度を調整したり，作成されるガイドツアーの質を調整したりといった多様な利用方法も提供できる． | |||||||

| 内容記述 | There are many guided tour authoring tools for learning on the WWW.They are so-called “Web Application ”tools using WWW servers,CGI programs and DBMSs.However,if a teacher lets his/her each learner turn in a guided tour as a paper,the number of learners is not so many for the teacher at once.Therefore stand-alone tools are more suitable than the “Web Application ”tools for ordinary teachers who are not expert on the information technology.XML is not only the representation medium for structured documents but also the storage medium for data of any applications.It is possible to represent the sequence of Web pages utilizing XLink notions and to create stand-alone prototype tools using DOM. Moreover,the prototype provides a new phase for selection of candidate Web pages in the authoring process of guided tours.As a result,it enables teachers to adjust difficulty in guided tour creation process for learners and quality of guided tours created by learners. | |||||||
