• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: RCC（Region Connectinon Calculus）は空間データに関する計算法の1つであり，領域を基本単位として領域間のmereological，topologicalな関係に着目した定性的な推論を提供する．RCCに関しては，これまでの研究で，拡張も含め，領域間のtopologicalな関係については十分表現力があることが示されており，時間的推移も扱えることが分かっている．しかし，領域上で成り立つ性質に関する推論についてはほとんど注目されてこなかった．ところが，地理情報システムをはじめとする応用分野においては，空間や領域の位置情報と属性情報をあわせ持つデータを扱うものが多く，両者が互いに関係した推論が頻繁に必要となる．特に，連結していない（共通点を持たない）領域の属性の間に成り立つ関係が，そのままではうまく扱えないため，応用が限定されてしまう．本発表では，RCCの1つの体系であるRCC-8を基にして領域の集合から領域への関数も記述できるよう拡張する．さらに時間的要素も加えた記述言語を提案し，モデルを与える．これによって，2つの領域上における性質の因果関係なども記述・推論できるようになった．さらに，このモデル上で成り立つ性質についても議論する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: RCC (Region Connection Calculus) provides qualitative treatment of the spatial data by regarding each region as a unit and focusing on the mereological and topological structures. Although its expressive power has been fully shown on the topological relations between regions, reasoning about the properties on regions has not been so mush paid attention to. However, in many applications such as GIS, the database comprises both spatial and semantical data corresponding to each object and reasoning on both data is often required. We extend RCC-8, a variant of RCC, by allowing to write fuctions from a set of regions to a region, so that we can treat causal relations between the properties of regions, espetially of disconnected ones. Incorporating with temporal factors, we propose the language and give the model. We also discuss the properties which hold on this model.
