• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 著者らは，ISDN接続のコンピュータ支援をベースとし，映像音響機器を組み合わせたシステムを授業環境とした双方向遠隔協同授業の方式について研究してきている。このシステムをCCV (Computer Communication and Visual）教育システムと呼ぶ．このシステムでは，鮮明な映像や聞きやすい音声の共有によって，相手方との臨場感や一体感を醸成することが重要となる．しかし，臨場感や一体感を高めつつ機器操作を行うことは教師にとって負担が大きく，授業効果の妨げになる恐れがある．このため，教師に負荷を負わせず，映像や音声の効果的な操作によって授業効果を向上させる機構の実現が課題となる．著者らは，両教室間の映像管理，教材などの検索／編集管理，および授業プロセス管理の3エージェントによる協調動作によって実現する方式を提案した．その実証のために小学校の算数を対象とした協同授業の実験を行い，マルチエージェント機能の動作について評価を行った．その結果，本提案が教師の機器操作の負荷軽減，および遠隔教室間の交流の活性化に有効であることが確かめられた．同時にエージェント機能の高度化への課題も確認された．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The authors have been investigating methodologies of collaborative distance learning which utilize,as the learning environment,a system based on ISDN communications and computer support,combined with audio and video equipment.We call this a CCV(Computer,Communication and Visual)educational system.In designing such a system,it is important that a sense of presence or unity between remote classes be generated by sharing vivid images and natural-sounding voice signals.However,while the sence of presence and unity is enhanced,operation of the equipment necessary for may impose a sudstantial burden on teachers and thus hinder instruction.Hence one goal of development was the realization of mechanisms to improve collaborative learning through the effective manipulation of image and voice signals,without imposing oppressive burdens on the teachers.The authors have proposed a method to achieve this through the cooperative action of three kinds of agents,which handle image manipulation and exchange between remoto classes,retrieval and editing of teaching meterials,and control of the learning process.Verification experiments were conducted in actual elementary schools to evaluate the effects of the multi-agent functions.The results show that the proposed methodology is an effective solution for alleviating the burden of equipment opration,and for stimulation of exchanges between remote classes.At the same time,areas for further improvement of agent functions were noted.
