| 内容記述 | 独自開発の症例分析支援用フリーソフトウェアCEPMS7を中心に据えて 最近利用者が急速に増加したインターネットのWWW (World Wide Web) を利用した矯正歯科診断指導システムを試作した. 本システムの目的は 特殊な高速通信設備を持たない遠隔地の医師がベテラン医師の指導を受けられるようにすることである. そのため 比較的低速な回線 (一般電話またはISDN) 経由で利用することを前提として実用性を検討したが 実際の運用が十分可能なことが判明した. インターネットを用いた診断指導は一般の難治症例に有用なのはもちろんだが 特に外科的矯正治療が必要な症例に使用すれば便利である. 本システムで作成されたWWWページは 広域的なスタディグループなどで共有して教育的な利用を行うと有意義であり そのコンセプトは他の医療分野に対しても広く適用可能であると考えられる. | |||||||

| 内容記述 | We developed a trial version of orthodontic diagnosis supporting system using Internet WWW (World Wide Web). The main software is CEPMS7 which originally developed by the authors. The aim of this system is that doctors anywhere can be advised by well-trained doctors. The performance of file transfer was indeed when we tried this system using ordinary telephone lines. Orthodontic diagnosis supporting system by WWW is useful when it is used for the diagnosis of a patient whose treatment is rather difficult, especially one who needs orthognathic surgery. Educational use of this system by the study groups whose members exist in wide area would be useful. And the concept of this system could be applied to any other medical fields. | |||||||
