| 内容記述 | 英語による円滑なコミュニケーションを図るための術を獲得することを目的とした斬新な英語学習システムを構築した．オンデマンドでマルチモーダル知識コンテンツを閲覧できるシステムをベースとしており，自分の興味にあったコンテンツを閲覧しながら，同時に英語の勉強もできるという特長を持ったシステムである．英語学習専用のコンテンツを作るのではなく，既存のさまざまな分野のコンテンツに英語知識を付与することで，豊富なコンテンツを通して英語が学べるという，斬新な情報システムの利用形態を提案する側面もあわせ持つ．さらに本研究は，英語教育・自然言語処理・ヒューマンインタフェースの研究者による文工融合の共同プロジェクトとして推進されている．異分野間のシナジー効果によって，コミュニケーション術の習得に役立つ英語の深い知識を，自然言語処理によって自動抽出することにより，魅力的なマルチモーダル知識コンテンツを効率良く作成することに成功した． | |||||||

| 内容記述 | We have developed a new type of English learning system for the acquisition of skills of smooth communication in English. The system has a charactersitic of helping us learning English while watching multimodal knowledge contents that are provided on demand. It also makes use of information system in a brand new way, providing us with contents of various kinds with annotations of English knowledge, not with contents only for English learning purpose. This research is a collaborative work of humanities and techology, pushed forward by the researchers on English education, natural language processing and human interface. The synergy effects, produced by the collaboration of the different fields of study, have made it possible to draw automatically deeper aspects of English knowledge and skills of communication and to generate attractive and fruitful multimodal knowledge contents efficiently. | |||||||
