• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本稿では，「過去帳」分析システムを構築して，寺院「過去帳」に供養されている被葬者の出身地について検討する．「過去帳」分析システムは，「過去帳」データベース，「過去帳」分析プログラム，および検索利用マニュアルから構成されている．本システムには，約3万1千人の被葬者が登録されており，51項目の死亡に関わる人口学的指標を利用者側コンピュータに表示することができる．武蔵国多摩郡に立地する10ヵ寺の寺院「過去帳」を分析した結果，17世紀初頭から20世紀初頭まで被葬者総数の数%を占める他所出身者の出身地は，東北，関東，東海，北陸，近畿，中国，四国，九州にわたっていた．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: We have constructed a database system for analyzing the Japanese Buddhist temple death register which is called Kako-Cho (KC). The system is composed of the database of the KC data, programs for outputting the statistics of mortality and the manual for users. The URL of this system is http://kawaguchi.tezukayama-u.ac.jp. We have stored up approximately 31 thousand deaths in 12 Buddhist temples. We can provide 51 kind of demographic statistics concerning with mortality. With this system, we have investigated the birthplaces of the deaths in Tama County, Musashi Province. We find some peasants who came from all over Japan, died in Tama County after the beginning of the 17th Century.
