Due to the influence of the novel coronavirus, many companies are introducing telework. Telework may lead to a lack of informal communication, which may cause impairment to quality of communication and loneliness. In order to solve the problem, we devised a media space called Commidor, which incorporates the concept of a corridor. Commidor is displayed at the front of the screen when switching between tasks on a PC, and users need to spend a certain amount of time to exit it in order to close Commidor window and perform other tasks.Users can have a video chat with other users near them on Commidor. We conducted preliminary experiment was conducted with students in the authors' laboratory and experiment in two groups in order to verify whether informal communication actually occurs with this system. Results show that our method is useful enough in an environment where everyone works simultaneously at fixed time, such as working hours.AA1155524X研究報告グループウェアとネットワークサービス(GN)2021-GN-1139172021-03-082188-87442021-03-05
