In this paper, we try to apply the self-organizing maps (SOM) to the analysis of literary works. The literally works have been so far analyzed independently, due to the lack of the methods to interrelate and represent different works in a unified way. The SOM is a technique to visualize relations among many components. It can be effectively used to visualize the important relations among them. We applied the SOM to visualize the interrelations among the works of Jules Vern. Experimental results confirmed that the interrelations among his works are clearly visualized for intuitive interpretation.
