Recently, it increases the importance of the visualization of natural objects which have ambiguous boundaries and complex motions such as water flow, fire, smoke, etc. In conventional particle systems, however, to calculate interactions among a number of particles needs an extremely large amount of computation. On the other hand, cellular automata are massively parallel computation models which are able to simulate complex phenomena through simple calculations performed in parallel, In our modeling, particle motions are simulated by the cellular automata whose neighborhood system is Margolus neighborhood. We demonstrate some examples which shows the availability of our approach.AN10100541情報処理学会研究報告グラフィクスとCAD(CG)199392(1993-CG-065)17241993-10-222009-06-30
