The virtual hand enables a user to grasp move and assemble objects directly. The virtual cutter can be used to deform objects. A user can also paint objects by pointing an arbitrary color on the virtual color-ring with the virtual stick. With these tools 3D shapes can be easily designed in the virtual working space.Virtual manipulating tools; virtual hand, cutter, stick and color-ring, which increase usability of three-dimensional (3D) shape design, are developed.
