Information Broadcasting is a next-generation information service, provided by digital broadcasting systems, with highly structured information. This paper describes a popularity-based TV program schaduling system at the Information Broadcasting service. In this system, as many as several million current TV viewers send requests from their TV terminals; the broadcasting statins then decide the TV program broadcasting schedules. Assuming that the Information Broadcasting is a pay service, using simulation studies, we study what program schaduling policies and parameters are effective to increase the satisfaction of Information Broadcasting providers and viewers alike.AN10112482情報処理学会研究報告データベースシステム(DBS)199961(1999-DBS-119)7121999-07-212009-06-30
