In the proposed method a model for the design of distributed application software systems called a user-centered application software model is proposed as a means of designing and implementing heterogeneous software modules for user-centered application software systems. According to the design model heterogeneous software modules are realized as plug gable software modules according to the users' requirements. Combina-tion of these modules makes it possible to create a user-centered application software system in a distributed computing environment. In addition this pa_er gives an example of the design of a user-centered application software system in a local-area-network-based distributed computing environment and discusses the advantages of the proposed method.This paper proposes a new method for designing and implementing application software systems in a distributed computing environment.
