We developed a blow interface using a spirometer sensor to measure the amount and speed of expelled air. This interface is implemented as a part of the interactive art named “Jellyfish Party”.The player wearing a Head Mounted Display (HMD) is able to generate CG objects such as soap bubbles by blowing his/her breath into a straw, then the system merges the CG soap bubbles into the real world by Mixed Reality (MR) technology. Multiple players can join the system and interact with objects generated by the other players. “Jellyfish Party” was open to general public in an exhibition and has been experienced by more than one thousand players, and it received high ratings. In this paper, we described the development of the blowing interface and its evaluation based on the survey done at the exhibition.AN00116647情報処理学会論文誌467159416022005-07-151882-77642009-06-29
